The ARDX® Foundation and ELG Management present the
Reddix Rules Fund™: Creating a Millionaire
Dr. Angela D. Reddix is an award-winning business woman, USA Today & Wall Street Journal Best-Selling Author, TEDx speaker, Forbes Business Council Member, and Director of the Hodge Center for Entrepreneurship at Norfolk State University. Dr. Reddix has grown her healthcare management and IT consulting firm into a multi-million-dollar operation with approximately 100 employees with 15 years in business.
In the midst of the global health crisis COVID-19, Dr. Angela Reddix is once again taking the lead to support female entrepreneurs through a grant called the Reddix Rules Fund™. This grant is intended to assist women of color-owned small businesses, giving them the opportunity to thrive as successful business owners and leaders.
According to an October 2020 article in Forbes magazine, Black women make up 42% of new women-owned businesses. We will continue creating history by increasing the number. However, the article also shared the brutal impact of COVID-19 citing 41% of Black-owned businesses had failed, compared to 17% of white-owned businesses. It’s time to change that narrative and keep WOC-owned businesses flourishing. Faced with the possibilities of closing businesses, owners have had to reinvent themselves and or change their trajectory with little or no resources.
Dr. Angela Reddix is celebrating 15 years in business this year of 2021. In honor of those 15 years in business and to celebrate the second year of the Reddix Rules Fund™, Dr. Angela Reddix is giving back once again to female entrepreneurs. This year, the Reddix Rules Fund™ will consist of a 10-hour entrepreneurship program, 10 hours of mental wellness coaching to build resilience, and monetary awards valued at $20,000, with a pitch competition finale.
This year’s program will change lives through mentorship, training and knowledge. The Reddix Rules Fund™ is powered by some dynamic sponsors-EBONY/ JET, Forbes Business Council. Grow with Google, Atlantic Union Bank, KW Brown Ministries, Bannister Nissan, Dr. SOS, and others! Congratulations to the 10 selected participants!
