Historic Event City of Norfolk Proclaims October 18th as Dr. Angela D. Reddix Day
NORFOLK, VA — Yesterday, a historic and monumental moment was shared with a private group of 757 guests to honor Dr. Angela D. Reddix at the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA.
The City of Norfolk presented an official proclamation and the City of Virginia Beach Mayor Dyer declared October 18, 2021 as Dr. Angela D. Reddix Day. Attendees at the event expressed the inspiring energy from this very well-deserved celebration for the incredible impact Dr. Reddix has made across the 757 and nationally.
Dr. Reddix received accolades from Gov. Ralph Northam, Senator Mark Warner, and the Mayors of Norfolk and Virginia Beach for her outstanding continuous achievements. Dr. Reddix continues to make headlines with her innovative programs developed to groom girls and women into the nation’s next generation of entrepreneurs, as well as creating millionaires as part of her Billionaire Movement.
In the Chrysler Museum’s Garden, Dr. Reddix walked the red carpet symbolically as a send off to this week’s EBONY ceremony in Los Angeles, CA where she has been named on EBONY Magazine’s Power 100 List for 2021. EBONY Magazine features an annual list honoring achievements of Black Americans from many fields including business, sports, media, entrepreneurship, entertainment, and activism. Dr. Reddix will join many other notable figures in their respected industries like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Shaquille O’Neal, Amanda Gorman, and Virginia Beach native, Timbaland.
