Dr. Angela Reddix expressed incredible gratification today as the announcement of the 2021 Ebony Power 100 honorees list was released. Dr Reddix was 1 of 9 to be recognized in the Innovation Leaders category. The astounding celebration for the 2021 EBONY Power 100 Awards Ceremony is supported by Procter & Gamble, Coke Zero Sugar, Dove, Cadillac and Baccarat.

Dr. Reddix, along with several star-studded achievers like Jada Pinkett Smith and Amanda Gorman, will be awarded at the Ceremony in Los Angeles on October 23rd.

Angela shared her enthusiasm on her Instagram today:

“@ebonymagazine and Jet magazines tell the story of our culture for the last 75 years! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Lena Horne and Micheal Jackson all graced the pages of this ICONIC magazine. Now, I am being honored with @jadapinkettsmith, @dnice, @tamronhall, @amandascgorman and so many other phenomenal individuals. I have chills imagining my great great grandchildren reading about me in Ebony magazine! I am representing every little girl out there who dares to be different! I am representing every woman out there who is bold enough to travel the road less traveled. I am representing the 757, where I was born and after many years away, returned to grow beyond my wildest dreams! I am representing the state of Virginia, where I have built my enterprise. I am representing @jamesmadisonuniversity where I found my voice. The only thing that would make this sweeter is sharing this historic moment with my sweet, strong and beautiful grandmother, Olivia. She was excellence personified.
